The products count against each manufacturer is solved using the below fix
https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/441539-manufacture-count-problem/
But, the other problem "no products for this manufacturer" still persists

You mean you would like to use URL after filtering on "Advanced Top Menu"?. We use ajax for filter in "Layered navigation block" module so you shouldn't use URL after filtering.
