Theme Help

Hi Jim, I hope you are doing great,
Please solve some problems I am having in the theme while configuring it, Please refer to the attachment. :)

I am testing the theme on my test server and once I will make things according to my needs and error free I will take it on my business domain which is stylay.com, I request you to share the solution with me because if the problem occurs while re developing the site on my live domain I can fix it my self. :)
Problems highlight:

Newsletter block is not registering email when hooked into footer but the same module is working fine in "displayhomebottomcontent"

Column 2 in the footer is not displaying the links correctly. :)

PS: I did change the css of newsletter block to fit it in the footer and I don't believe that changing the css is causing the problem, It has to something with the hooks because the newsletter block is working in displayhomebottomcontent.
