    That's right, using css color is only effective for icons, images cannot change color as simply as that. There are many ways to change the color of an image, but each method includes more complicated work, for example: converting svg images into icons then embedding icons into the website, creating many images with different colors then using css to change images with different colors (creating an effect similar to an image that is changing color), ...
