How to change text New on Shop products list page

Hi there, how I can change the text NEW that is showing on the product lists on the site, just example you can see here:

Also please tell me why those images on the front page, below slider, cant be the same size (height). I have checked all of them, they are the same size, and have the same formating options selected, but still displayed differently. (see screenshot in attachment)
