    Kuteshop Toolkit

    we have 2 issues on our site:

    1 -
    our homepage is built with the plugin 'Kuteshop Toolkit' but the homepage isn't loading correctly. if we disable the plugin the homepage loads the slider but then the menu dropdowns and half the shop don't work.

    2 -
    I tested updating our theme from version 3.7.0 to 4.1.0 on a dev site but whole site reset back to the default styling.

    Do you have an a fix for problem 1?
    Also how do we update the theme without loosing al the styling?

    to update the theme I used FTP and swapped the folders over.

    if it helps i am seeing errors in the errorlog on the dev site such as:

    I have had to disable the plugin kuteshop-toolkit on the dev site to get it to load but it now shows shortcode everywhere

    Hi @stuartlane

    I also checked your site and I see that:
    You are using version 3.0.7 of the theme. With this version, the theme is completely used the Elementor template, not the WPBackery template anymore.
    While you still use the WPBakery Page builder to build your site. It's not correct. Maybe some elements are conflicted. So you should use the latest version of the theme (currently, it is 4.1.0) and use the correct template of the theme to build your site.

    And then, if you have any problems, we can help you to check it.

    sorry, i do not fully understand.

    The live site is using version 3.7.0 of the theme and uses Visual Composer for the homepage. it has been like this since it was built and it uses Kuteshop Visual Composer elements so how can there be a problem with it using WPbakery when you made elements for it?

    You also list wpbakery/visual composer as a feature of the theme

    The Kuteshop Toolkit pluginnis very 1.5.4, do you have an updated version of this?
    In version 4 of the theme did you basically make a new theme from scratch which would explain why it is not possible to upgrade from version 3 > 4?
