Footer Setting Doubling the Page

Hello,
We are having an issue where, when we set the footer style in Ovic Panel > Theme Options > Footer > Select "Footer 16" and then save, it is doubling the home page. Meaning that all of the home page content is duplicated and stacked on top of each other. No matter what footer we select this happens.
Also, we are trying to use Elementor but the Ovic plugin is saying that it requires WPBakery Visual Composer. Should there be an override here? or should we abandon Elementor and use VC for compatibility sake?
