wordpress core update

Good morning
I wanted some advice
as I still have the core version of wordpress 5.8.3 installed and all the plugins are updated, but now the version 6.0 has arrived.
I'm afraid to update to the latest version, I don't know if I can have problems with theme and plugin then later.
I understand to make a backup to proceed both the DB and the FTP file, but I repeat I would like to know if I can have problems then?
Can you give me an advice?
