Html blocks module editing and saving issues
I worked out the biggest part of the website locally, without any problems to the Html module. Everything was working as described in documentation. Then I moved the website online, on a temporary domain, see private data. Here I started to have some problems.
1) Column
- From the module configuration, I added a Html block to the left column, with some simple title and text paragraph.
- For some reason, the Html block was ok in the home page column, but the same block was duplicated in the category pages columns.
- The module was seen in front office, but the module's preview in BO was not visible.
2) Home Banners
- Your website Demo data included 3 "banner blocks" right under the Home Slider.
- As described in documentation, I edited the imported block, replacing images with others I uploaded.
- This module was shown inside the BO editor, but images were not rendered here, as if the link was broken.
I was not able to control the modules from the Modules tab, so i tried deleting them in their position in Layout Control / Layout Builder. I started with the Html block in the column, but even after deleting the module from its position, the doubled module was still there.
The only way to delete them successfully was resetting the Html block module from the BO.
Once the module was reset, the Homepage block with 3 banners was the only html content still visible in the Module Editor, images were still invisible in the BO and visible in the Front.
- I tried to start back from the beginning, entering my own hmtl blocks.
- I pasted and copied all the code already inside the Editor to save it outside the site.
- Then I deleted all the content and updated the block.
- The block module has been deleted and is no more visible in the BO, but I still see it in the Homepage, no matter how many times i empty the cache (which is properly set off as the site is still to complete).
This module is quite important for the theme front in general, so I really hope we can go through this with your help.
