About footer: You can remove at the Ovic Panel>>Footer Builder>>edit Tools 02 and do as the attachment file below

this only removes the image, but not the banner. When I removed the image, the banner still displays text "blog" with grey background

Please enter these CSS codes into ACE Setting box at the Ovic Panel>>Theme Options>>General and let me know your results
body .page-head{display:none;}
