Slider content and other content does not show up

I followed the video for installation perfectly yet the slider, the words under it such as 24/7 and all of the picture boxes below it do not show up. Also, when I click on Visual Composer - General - none of the options that show up in your video show up on my system. I am trying to download #1. I also have a plugin for my shopping - not sure if this would make a difference. I NEED HELP! Lastly, does the video really not have sound??
