pagination and layered navigation

Hi,
there's some issue with layered navigation menu?
When i activate layered navigation: items number from a filter aren't right or change from "n" to "0" after selected it
i see another unusual behavior about pagination, system create 5 pages, but if you click on last page, no items are showed and nr "5"
did Userfriendly url must be active?
