    Add menu effect on mobile

    Hello,

    I am trying to add a menu effect when a user clicks on a menu item on the mobile version.
    Currently, there is no effect (no highlight, no coloring, nothing). The user can't tell if he clicked on the item or not.

    Is there a way to add effect like the desktop version ? I think there should be an easy solution.

    Hi, @bouker2

    On the desktop, you can hover by the mouse you can see the highlight.
    On the mobile, you just can click on the item. And I also test, the texts are still highlighted when you are on that page: https://prnt.sc/10bps9a

    When you click nothing happens. You have to wait for the next page to load for the menu item to become green.

    If you try any website, when you click on a menu item, you see a quick highlight or a coloring of the text so that the user knows he had clicked on something. It is even available in the mobile menu of your demo (https://biolife.kute-themes.net/) but not in my website.

    I hope you understood what I am looking for.

    I first open the menu on your demo in the mobile version, I go to blog then clicks on Vegetables category. You can see that the text highlights in green so that the user knows where he clicked while the next page is loading.

    Then I go to my website, clicks on category then click on Patisserie category. You can see that nothing happens. There is no green highlight, it stays white while the page is loading. The user is not sure if he clicked or not.

    ahhhh. I can understand that at the moment you click on the menu item (on mobile version), that menu item is not highlighted as in the demo site.
    When it redirects to that page then open again the menu, then the menu item highlights. Is this right?

    Did you customize anything on the Main theme yet?
    If not, please update your theme to the latest version (2.0.3). You are using the lower version (2.0.2)
    If you customized or changed something, pls provide me your FTP account. My coder will check then fix it for you.

    I updated the theme but It did not work. Same problem.

    Also many things broke (like page banners) so I am resetting everything now.

    You should take the backup this CSS code when you have any chance or update the theme.
