    This works when i leave the duka.ug/store/jordah when i change it to duka.ug/s/jordah it fails. So changing the Store URL Base causes it to malfunction

    It is because you set the URL base was "s" so WP got the misunderstanding to the Search page.

    When i leave store base url for wcfm as 'store' it works as expected. if i want to change the store base url to 's' it redirects to that search page.
    Is there no way , your theme can detect the "Store URL Base*" from wcfm then redirect accordingly. The option to change Store URL Base from WCFM is now redundant. If some one changes it, your theme wont render vendor page correctly

    This is not the issue related to the theme. The theme does not intervene in "Store URL Base" as you said.

    "The option to change Store URL Base from WCFM is now redundant" => This is the way that WCFM works. It's the options of WCFM

    The theme is just the appearance of a website without being the way that website works.
