Site footer issues

No matter what footer i select the footer never changes, even when changing it in the actual page. it was working fine yesterday, now all of a sudden nothing will change. I have been having nothing but trouble with this theme. I need someone to assist with this problem as it is holding up the progress of me publishing my site.
