    Mega menu setup

    Hi, we have had huge issues trying to set up the mega menu.

    Please can you advise on how this is done? We want our categories to be our menu.

    Hi ,

    yes this is one of the issues we are experiencing whenever we work on the mega menu and try setting it up it breaks the site.

    Please assist we need the mega menu to generate from the categories loaded

    Good Day,

    I am the developer for the site, I am having the following issues with the Mega Menu and need urgent feedback.

    1. I created all the categories and subcategories for the site and need each main category in the main menu and when you hover over each one, theie
    four sub categories and their sub items to be displayed like most online stores.

    I.e; MENS (main menu) -> SHOP BY CATEGORY (all sub categories to be listed underneath), SHOP BY ACCESSORIES (all sub categories to be
    listed underneath), SHOP BY FOOTWEAR (all sub categories to be listed underneath) AND SHOP BY BRAND (all sub categories to be listed
    underneath).

    Does each of these categories need to be manually added to the menu before creating the mega menu?

    2. When I add a Mega Menu to a menu item (as per your documentation), it breaks the frontend of the site (blank white screen).
    The moment the mega menu is deactivated, the site works.

    3. Lastly, how to I edit the contents of the mega menu via your Boutique Custom Menu.

    Let me know if the client has given you all the login details you require, the menu is currently set to the one we need.

    Thanks for your patience. However let my coder checks the reason why we can't see your front page when accessing the admin account then I will check for you the issue abt Mega menu. Because right now I cannot see something

    Thank you very much for your feedback.

    When the mega menu is enabled the frontend goes white, the moment the mega menu is deactivated then the site is visible.

    I got the feedback from my coder:
    The problem is because your hosting is overloaded. It is hard to load js_composer
    My coder tried to raise some elements by cPanel but it was impossible: https://prnt.sc/szrghz

    So, please try to contact your Hosting manager if they can do it for you.

    Yes, my coder knew the reason why:
    It is because you built the menu in an incorrect way. It creates an infinite loop -> resulting in overload
    You built:
    - Main menu - category: You set the location is: Primary Menu
    - Then you set the Items of Primary Menu to have Mega Menu
    - And in Content of Mega menu, you set Main Menu - Category

    So, you should build again your menu, your site will run correctly

    I received a tutorial from your support on how to set up the mega menu, I followed the instructions and the site broke.

    he tutorial did not provide enough information on how to add content and link the menu correctly. When I use boutique custom menu, it only allows me to choose a style and not replace the demo content with the sub categories or other content.

    Please can you provide a step-by-step tutorial on how to create a mega menu with product categories? All sub categories have been created and linked to the main categories that will be on the home page.

    Thank you for the tutorial- I am in the process of making all the menu's.

    I will also leave a review for you:)

    I have one more question - how to I make the width of the sub mega menu wider?
    I have changed the pixel amount in the individual mega menu settings but it doesn't reflect on the frontend.

    Click on Settings button of the menu item you want: https://prnt.sc/t5dpev
    Enter into this box: https://prnt.sc/t5dpxw => .megamenu-wrap and save your setting.
