Help with Update from 1.3.4 to newest 2.x

I have big problems with the update from 1.3.4 to 2.x
I did everything like in the documentation:

I tried it twice but everytime it breaks my layout completely!
For example it changes the KT Content elements in Text Elements after Update...

So I had to go back to 1.3.4.
Can you please help me with this big update?

Hi,

In order to upgrade from version 1.x to 2.x, you should need to assistance from us. We will do the task for you.

Right now, pls do backup all your data, contents of your site of version 1.x then let me know. I will ask the coder to upgrade for you to version 2.x. Also, your ftp account does not work: https://prnt.sc/s256io Pls check and provide me the correct one

All backups (file & database) are done already! I use BackWPup for this... So you can start!
Or is there more to do to backup contents of website?

For SFTP I forgot to tell you the special port you have to use! You find it in Secret Information now!

In the screenshot I can see you did not set the port! see info in the secret again...
There is also possibility to use webFTP... Also in secret...

By the way! I will have to give a course today 15h to 17h (CET) on the shop! So please do not work in this time!!! ;o)

Hi,

Sorry to let you wait for a few days. My coder saw that you were using Child theme with a lot of customization.
So if you we still help you to update version of theme to the new level, all your customization will not work anymore. You will have to customize according to the new version of theme.

So pls let me know your intention if you still want to update version of theme.

Hi Yame,

Hm... I just made some CSS changes in styles.css... This should not be a problem to reproduce them after update...
Maybe the classes changed, but as said i made only some changes to colors and fonts... Most of the customization is made in the Boutique Theme Options in Backend... Will this also be affected?

As I guess the 1.3.x Version will not be provided with further updates, we have to do this update anyway... right?

Because Child theme is the version which is inherited from parent theme. Every your customization in Child theme will work when you still use Main theme version 1.x
Now if we update for you to the new version (2.x), you have to use another Child theme which is inherited from Main theme version 2.x.
So I think you still should do backup all your customization. Then update to 2.x, then you should do the customization again in new Child theme basing on the code you did before. I think that is the unique way. Just think carefully then let me know.

I was able to reproduce almost everything ;o)

What I can't figure out is one thing with the social icon links (in my case in the footer)
They open _self and I can not change them to open _blank !
Is there an option I can't find or is this defined like this in the theme?
