    Footer problem

    Hello.

    I have two questions regardinf footer on Biolife theme.

    1. Ovic Icon box - links are not working. Links inside Ovic box settings are not working even if they are set. See my attachment. I tried to remove pointer cursor, but it is the same result.
    2. On a mobile device - My account menu works fine, but the "Informacije" menu can't be expanded. It is hidden all the time. Why is that?

    1. If we hover the mouse over the icon link, the cursor changes to hand (like when you go over the link), but even if you set a link in the ovic setting, nothing happens even if you click the mouse on the ovic icon.
    It is just seen like it is a link but the link which is set is not working. Hope you understand what I mean. It is not a big issue, I can make a workoround...

I think the best way is to crrate a new page and use "single image". What do you think? I also made a sreenshot.

    1. Sorry but I don't know the reason. It works for me both in total commander and in filezilla. Try to check the checkbox " use passive mode". It helps somethime. - see attachment

    3. I am really confused. I have to admitt I am new in this mailchimp stuff but I thought I've done everything. Afterall my page is connected with mailchimop account. See attacments. What else to do? I don't knopw where this demo data are comming from....

    3. You still take the screenshot in back end. It does not I mean. Please do according to these steps:
    - Firstly, create your own key of Mailchimp
    - After that, add the key in Mailchimp box in back end site
    - Lastly, login to the account that you have created for mailchimp to check all subscribed emails. Because you have to note that you will not able to check subscribed emails in back end site

    In the backend my site is connected and also on the mailchimp site - like you saw in my previous attachment - the store is connected and synhronized

    3. Ok. Here is another field to insert the key. All I needed to know was: Ovic panel-> Settings->Extend settings->MailChimp. I didn't find this.!!!

    I inserted API key just into Mailchimp plugin for WooCommerce...

    Is there any possiblity to translate the mail which comes to subscriber and he has to Confirm he is not a robot?

    Mailchimp: As I see, you add yours. And now, pls login account of Mailchimp (the account that you created this key) then you will see all the subscribed emails.

    Before we close the topic there is one more question.

    The site is very slow. Is there anything I can do to make the site loading faster. I think the mayor problem is slider revolution.
    Do you have any other proposals? (hosting, caching, compressing, pictures compressing - i know all of that - I am more interesting in theme speed up).

    Hi Matej,

    My coder checked for you already. He said that the plugin Revolution was the most heavy plugin. He also installed for you a cache plugin so the speed is improved a bit. And pls check again in your site, you should deactivate the unnecessary plugins. It will make your site runs slowly.

    Another issue.

    On the page https://biokatka.si

    When we have some items in the cart and hover over the cart - it displays items nice if we are on the shop page see ss1.

    On other pages - it doesn't show anything.. see ss2.

    1. Breadcrumb step by step:
    1.1. In google search console I am getting errors that there are 9 pages on my site with missing Item field - see attachment "MissingItemField_1" and "MissingItemField_2". This are all the pages which are not related with woocommerce store.
    1.2. After google searching I found it as common problem. It seems that also the page link in Breadcrumb has to have "href" not only home link - see attachment "MissingItemField_3" and "MissingItemField_4". Looks like google don't like this

    The breadcrumps in my Yoast SEO are disabled - See "MissingItemField_5"


    2. Translation
    2.1. You have to be logout - on the page

    2.4. Click on "Kliknite tukaj za prijavo" - See attachmnets "translation_1" and "translation_2"


    3. In search console I also get an error that there are pages with noindex. But investigating with google it seems that this pages in woocommerce are common marked with no index? Do you have any info about this. See attachment "NoIndex"

    I got an answer from my host provider.

    Because of safety reasons, Ftp connection is not allowed from other countries. I can add an exception but I need your static IP to do this.
    If you can provide me your static IP - please do this.

    After some days to check, my coder determined that it was the structure of Woo, we just develop the appearance of theme and base on Woo template to build. So we cannot intervene into the core to change something.

    Well I am a little bit confused since this happens to all non Woocommerce related pages. E.g. about us, terms and conditions, contact.... ?

    We aso tried to remove the SKU - see my attachment. We tried wth plugin and with filter in function.php of the child theme but it doeesn't work.

    add_filter( 'wc_product_sku_enabled', '__return_false' );

    The sku remains??

    Are there any possibilities to make some changes on the shop pag?.
    I don't wan't you to do this for me - it is just a question?

    - The shop page is costumized here - attachment 1? Or are there any other posibilities?
    - Let say I want different shop pages- I would like to change something on sidebar for instance - attachment 2?
    - If I click on categories I want only categories are shown - attachment 3?
    - If I click on brand I want only brands are shown - attachment 4? Or maybe the Brand menu is shown above categoriy menu in this case....
    - I wan't to add some atributs filter in some cases and so on - is this possible to customize?

    Sory to say this but your response is very slow. My support period is expiring and I will have to extend the support.

    However I don't agree that breadcrumbs are a part of Woo.

    The main problem is inside ovic-breadcrumbs,php file. See attachment. It is also descibed on this link what sould be done, but I am not a coder..

    If I just rename the ovic-breadcrumbs,php and use Yoast Seo breadcrumbs, than the issue is solved, but I am not sure this is a solution?

    I did this on test page. I did not try on https://biokatka.si

    Breadcrumb: The breadcrumb of Blog and Woo's is the different thing. Currently we do not modify / touch anything in Woo. This is the default design of Woo. You can use this plugin: Yoast Seo breadcrumbs. It is better for SEO, and just quite good for Woo

    1. You can take the screenshot for the elements you want to change in Shop page, then I will check and let you know if it can be changed or not
    2. The shop page is costumized here: Some elements will be configured in Theme Options. If you need to change something, you can take the screenshot then I will give you the correct answer
    3. want only categories are shown: You are marking on the left sidebar. And you can modify in Appearance > Widgets > Shop widget area: http://prntscr.com/pmm5vd
    4. For Brand and attributes: Could you please take the screenshots for these?

    Just for my better understanding.

    For you the woo pages are the woocommerce related pages - right?

    But my breadcrumb problem appears on all non - woocommerce pages - the woocommerce pages are working just fine. The problem are blog, about us, terms and conditions, cookies....

    We had some misunderstanding for the Woo. So it does not have any relationship.

    For Breadcrumb issue: The ones you check are the google standards for good SEO
    Currently we have the ones that do not follow this google standard. So if you still want to do following google search console, you have to custom or contact to our customized services.

    However we solved this by ourselves.
    It was one single line of code to change and you didn't manage to do it. I don't know what kind of support is this??
    If you look into my ticket you can see that on September 25th I asked to check my breadcrumb issue. Today is October 29!!!
    If you are not following google SEO standards with breadcrumbs... Who's standards are you following then??

    For your question, the current one (in demo site) still supports for SEO also but it is just the basic just but not as advanced as the yoast seo plugin. If you want to have the good SEO, your plugin is fine
    We will update the breadcrumbs to be supported SEO better. But it is better when you have to install plugin yoast seo
