Checkout Page, Required Fields

Hello! I am trying to figure out how to remove the "Required" action is for the Apartment/Suite/Unit in the 'checkout page'. Some of our customers might not have that to include - and I don't want to cause confusion.

Hi mate,

Pls put these css code in function.php of theme. And remember to BACKUP this before you update theme to the new version:

add_filter( 'woocommerce_checkout_fields' , 'boutique_override_checkout_fields' );
function boutique_override_checkout_fields( $fields ) {
unset($fields['billing']['billing_address_2']);
return $fields;
}

Pls do it then let me know the result

Hello. Tried adding that to the Function.php file and this is the error I received:
Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.

Is there anything else I can try?

DONE. Pls check and backup the code in line: 395 - 399 of file function.php.
You should backup it. If not, it will be lost when you update the Main theme.

Just a quick question - did it need to be deleted? It seems as if it is gone. We just wanted to make sure it wasn't a required space to fill in, but still there just in case the customer did have an apartment number.

Sorry, you mean that you want to make this field to be the box that is not required to fill, right? You want the box is there, not removed completely, right?

The code is in file function.php and you should backup this code if you want to update the theme in the future
