    PHP Compatibility

    I am working on a development site that is using PHP 7.3.5 but the theme is not compatible.

    I have also tried it on versions 7.2.18 and 7.1.29 but the latest version I can get the theme to work on is 7.0.33 which is classified as outdated.

    Is there an update coming to the theme so it is compatible with the latest version of PHP (or have I missed an update) ?

    Hi mate,

    As my coder suggestion, it should not use the too high version of PHP, because there are some plugins not compatible with the new PHP

    The most stable version currently is 7.0 and there is no out of date version of PHP, even we still use 5.6, it's normal.

    We will still continue update, version of PHP issue, but just update when that version is stable, no errors.

    So hope you can understand for this situation

    Thank you for your response.
    I host with Fasthosts and they have 7.0.33 listed as outdated - although not out of support.

    Fasthosts have started to charge for supporting sites on old PHP versions which is why I am keen to keep sites updated but as you say 7.0.33 is not yet out of support.

    Appreciate that this is not an urgent issue - but I hope to see an updated version at some point in the near future so we can continue using your themes.

    Thanks for your contribution. I will ask the coder to focus on this issue. However, as he said, he would update version of PHP when that version is stable.
    Some plugins need to work with the current version.
