“Vertical Menu Always Open” for categories?

Hello,
There is an option: “Vertical Menu Always Open”, and I want my Woocommerce categories would be “always on top”. However, I cannot find any categories there, only pages. I spent two days trying to figure out how to do that. However, without success. Maybe you can suggest me something? Thank you
