    Header Area Typeface Change

    Hello,

    Is it possible to change the Header (Menu) typography (font) and size? If so, where can this be found?

    I am also uncertain to the functionality of the Theme Options > Typography. I have been changing the font and size settings without it rendering any change. Any ideas? It seems some functionality is not present. (screen shot attached)

    Hi
    In this case, you have to custom by the css codes. Please try these codes and let me know your results.
    .main-menu {
    font-family: arial;
    font-size: 30px!important;
    }

    I apologize for not clarifying.

    The font was able to change to Arial, but the size of the typeface and any weight attributes DO NOT function.

    Is it possible to alter those attributes and also call upon a Google Font?

    Update:

    I have tried several attempts to customize and call on attributes for change in the menu area without functionality. Thus far, it appears that only the font can be changed and it has limited option as to which font functions. Perhaps some code forces an over-ride if anyone alters the settings in the header area.

    It would be amazing to be able to change this, especially as the theme is promoted as unlimited customization (especially in the header/footer areas).

    In this case, you can enter this line:
    font-weight: bold;
    .....

    Thank you for responding. I do not use Skype, so it would be most appreciated to communicate here on the forum.


    Although it is appreciated that you are offering the font-weight attribute, it leaves a lot of my original ticket un-answered / un-resolved:

    1. As the theme boasts so much customization, it is disappointing that the font attributes for the header cannot be seamlessly customized. Is it possible to call upon Google Fonts for use in the Header Menu?
    If not, is there a work-around to provide more selection in the fonts?

    2. Above I had mentioned that the only attribute that appears to be functioning is the font-family. Something appears to be over-writing any other attribute listed in the custom css.
    Can this be resolved?

    3. In the Turan Dashboard, under THEME OPTIONS > TYPOGRAPHY OPTIONS, what does this apply to (what areas of the theme does this effect)?
    Does this apply globally to all of the page's typeface? Headers, widgets, any other area?

    When I make any adjustment to these settings, I do not notice any changes across the theme, pages or widgets, etc. (screenshot attached) Is this because each page and element will have it's own font specified?



    I know that you and your colleagues must be very busy, yet I would sincerely appreciate a thorough explanation and/or resolution to my questions. I do not feel that they are un-reasonable as it is simply a header-customization question to font-family, font-size and attributes. If I am mistaken and making an error, I would love to know why and where.

    - About the THEME OPTIONS > TYPOGRAPHY OPTIONS function, it's not work in the Turan theme. My coders will check and update in the next time.

    Hello Kazim,

    Thank you for getting back to me.
    I am glad that your coders will update the Theme functionality for the Theme Options > Typography Options as it does not work.

    I am looking to flexibly customize the Header Menu area. I would like to be able to do the following:

    1. Increase the Font Size of the Header Menu.
    2. Customize the Tyepface of the Header Menu and utilize Google Fonts (which are included with the theme).
    3. Possibly make the alteration of weight (make bold).

    You mentioned the code above, which I had also tried on my own as I know the attributes to include in the custom CSS, but they did not work.
    I was able to make the font Arial but nothing else worked.. NO OTHER fonts and NO OTHER attributes.

    This would be great if you could assist.

    Where would you recommend that the Custom CSS for this be placed? On the header page? In the Customization area for the Theme? A child theme? Please let me know the location and I will test the functionality with your next response.
