    "Leave A Reply" Found On Pages

    Hello,


    On a couple of pages that come with the default demos, such as the Contact Page, there is a segment to login and/or leave a reply.
    It appears right above the footer and does not seem to be edit-able or remove-able. Is there any way to remove this and/or edit that portion?

    (screenshot attached)

    It may be an oversight not seeing where to manage this portion.

    Hello my friend,

    I have tried doing what you have said on all the pages that were showing the "Leave A Reply."
    I have tried checking, then updating, un-checking, then updating and the portion is still being left there.

    Any suggestion?

    Originally I also did not understand why even I had to check, then update, then un-check ..... The box was still on the page :)

    Hello,

    Unfortunately several pages are showing this Leave A Reply.
    None of them have the segment that you shared in your screenshoot as they are disabled (un-checked).

    When I enable discussion to see if the are checked, they are already un-checked as per your screenshot.
    Any ideas?

    After playing with the settings, you must leave the "Discussions" checked in the Screen Options > update page. Then check and un-check the discussion settings at the bottom (as per your last screenshot) and update again and THEN it will be removed from the page.
