Yes, I did yesterday and it worked. Today the theme was released to version 3.23 and everything has been deleted. Is it possible to modify this with the theme or option of a placeholder in the Theme Panel?

Where did you do? You should do in the child theme. Your changes wont be lost when theme's updated in the future.
