    Out of date WooCommerce theme templates

    There are a number of outdated WooCommerce templates in the theme. I wrote in about this before and was told it would eventually be fixed. When do you plan to make these updates?

    In your case, you can update to the latest theme version, it's version 1.3.5 and let me know your results.

    Hi Kazim,

    It seems my Google Analytics tracking code keeps getting removed from header.php after certain updates. Is there a better way to implement Analytics so that it doesn't get deleted?

    I don't know what part is unclear... I placed my google analytics tracking code in /wp-content/themes/techone/header.php and it disappeared after my TechOne theme update. Is there a place in your theme designated for tracking code so that it doesn't get removed after an update?

    Now i am clearly. In your case, you should do in the techone-child theme. Your changes wont be lost when theme's updated in the future. If you have any problems, please connect to me.

    To update the TechOne theme:
    Step 1: Backup your site( Include codes + Database)
    Step 2: From the dashboard>>Appearance>>Theme, you need to activate the default template( Ex; Twenty Seventeen theme)
    Step 3: Click on TechOne and then click Delete( look down in the right). NOTE: DO NOT delete the TechOne-Child
    Step 4: Return the dashboard choose Plugins then deactive the TechoNe Toolkit, Slider Revolution, WPBakery Visual Composer and delete them.
    Step 5: Return the Appearance menus choose Theme>>Add New>>choose your latest theme version>>Install
    Step 6: Return the Plugins menus>>New>>and choose the YechOne Toolkit (Slider Revolution, WPBakery Visual Composer plugins are the same)>>Install>>and activate them..

    There isn't a TechOne-Child to delete. I only have TechOne in my themes. I don't see a Child

    The cause maybe you have not install the child theme. You should to install it because if you have any changes, you can custom in it. Your changes wont be lost when theme's updated in the future.

    OK. Where can I obtain the child theme? Also, if I install the child theme, will I lose the customizations I already made in CSS and tracking code inside header.php?

    The Techone-Child theme' it exists in the TechOne package. To custom in the child theme, you can copy your files+url at the main theme to child theme and then you can do.

    I'm sorry. I'm still a bit unclear. Are you saying that each time I download the new zip file to update the theme to the latest version that I have to extract the zip file, go into my database and copy the header.php file to the extracted zip folder and then recompress it and upload it? I need more detail please.

    I think I figured it out. I copied over the functions.php, header.php, style.css, and the templates folder. I made sure I maintained the top code of the style.css so that it still identified it as the Child:
