    Issues with translation

    I've been trying to figure out this for days now, and it's really annoying me. There is some text on the theme I just can't edit.
    I have downloaded Loco Translate, and I can see most of the text there. I have tried to change the text, with no luck.

    I even tried to change the text in the .pot file, without luck. I have deleted all the .po and .mo files from FTP (/wp-content/themes/kutetheme/languages/), and that didn't work either. Since there already was a french .po ad .mo file, I tried to translate them as well, without luck.

    I have looked through EVERY file on /wp-content/themes/kutetheme/, without luck. I have looked through all the .js files as well, as text might be hidden there, without luck. I am soon going to look through all the files inside /wp-content/themes/kutetheme/libs/ and /wp-content/themes/kutetheme/woocommerce/, but since it's a lot of files I wanted to ask you here first.

    I have managed to translate some of the text using Loco Translate, but there is just a few words I can't translate.

    Here you can see that I have translated "shopping cart" to Handlevogn. I want to translate "x items in my cart", but I can't even find the text in the .pot file.

    If I press the "view cart" button right next to the search bar on the header, I can see the text "9 items in my cart". I can't even find this text! I have the same issue as dweb (http://support.ovicsoft.com/topic/show-topic/5040).


    When I have bought a product, I get the message: "Product successfully added to your cart." and "View Cart ->". I really want to translate this too, but I can't. I found the text in the .pot file, and I actually tried to translate the text directly in the .pot file as well, with no luck.

    I also want to translate the countdown at the frontpage "End in 09 Days, 23 Hrs, 32 Mins, 5 Secs", but I'm unable to find this text as well.

    Where is all the text hiding? Do I really have to go through every single file on /wp-content/themes/kutetheme/?


    I really hope you can help me here. It would definitely ease the burden.

    Sorry my late reply. I tried to update, but I still have issues with translating the web site. I still can't find the translation for "ITEMS IN MY CART", and the countdown on the frontpage (5 days, 3 Hrs, 50 Mins, 10 Secs).

    After updating Kutetheme, the text that pop ups when you have added a product to your cart, has disappeared.
    "Product successfully added to your cart - View Cart ->"

    So the customer won't know that they have successfully added the item to the cart.

    1. Thank you very much! I managed to translate it now.

    2. I did deactivate the Kutetheme Toolkit Plugin, delete it, and then reinstall it. I still can't find the words I'm looking for in the Loco Translate. However, I found the words "Hour", "Minute", and "Second". I tried to translate them, but that didn't work either.

    3. The only thing I can remember I have customized, was the colors on the frontpage. For some reason I couldn't change the colors in the vertical menu. I changed the colors in the .css file. It didn't work. After the latest update it worked fine. That's the only customization I can remember I have been doing.
    I don't know why, but the text doesn't appear here, after adding a product to the cart.

    I managed to translate everything now, except for "Days" in the countdown. Other than that, everything looks perfect now! =)

    I realised that we can't translate "Close" as well (On the vertical menu)

    Hi Jennifer! I can see that you have managed to translate Days to Dager, and I'm really grateful for that!
    Unfortunately you managed to translate everything else to English, and change the colors from orange back to pink. I hope this is something you can fix as soon as possible. Thanks.
