Change default product viewing?

Is it possible to change the default product viewing from grid to list? I would love to use the list as default.

In that case, what should be the maximum size of the product image?

This is the shop when we sort it in grid: http://i.imgur.com/cfXdAzi.jpg - As you can see it's very messy and cluttered, just because every picture has it own size.

This is the shop when we sort it in a list: http://i.imgur.com/OmzB4tk.jpg - This looks much better.

Our plan is to sort all the products in grid, but we have to change the size of every single image. What image size do you recommend for the product images?

Hi Jennifer!

Unfortunately I'm not able to change the product image in Dashboard=> Woocommerce=> Settings=> Product=> Display. I try to enter 300x300 in both catalog images and single product image. I try to enter 300x300, and "save". When I press F5, or update the page, it still says 300x300. But when I leave the page, and press "Display" again, it says 300x366 and 420x512. Why does this happen?
