Prestashop default item still in place

Hi I opened a ticket regarding this issue a few months ago but under the wrong CMS.
So maybe we can solve it this time under the right credentials.

I have a block of some lord ipsum stuff on my start page mixed with the beautiful theme that i can't seem to get rid of.
i just need that element gone and I'm happy.
