x.shop theme :: error thrown in Shopify when user attempts to load product collections

Hello,
We are experiencing a strange issue that just started recently.
We took this site live end of August, and were not experiencing this at golive.
The issue:
We are finding that if a product category has more than ~20+ products, the category page throws a Shopify error that states:
"Due to an unexpected technical problem, glasshopperpatterns.com is temporarily unavailable. Please check back in a few minutes – we'll be up and running in no time!"
An example category: https://glasshopperpatterns.com/collections/laser-etchings-alphabet-a-i
We contacted Shopify, and they indicated that we need to address this with the them developers directly.
They indicated that there are scripts in the them that are causing the issue.
