I really had no idea that just to install a theme would be so complicated and so time consuming. It is true that I know nothing about software but all I assumed that all I had to do was to install the theme and then get started. I am sure that you are fed up with someone as ignorant of software as me and I am more then frustrated with this experience. It is now two weeks and we have got nowhere.
Regarding passwords and usernames, there are three sets, I believe, one for my host Godaddy, one for Envato and another for Wordpress.
I have saved all three passwords as I always do. When you asked for my cPanel username and password a few days ago, I assumed you wanted my Godaddy username and password since this is what I use in order to click through to my cPanel for the theme which I downloaded. You asked me to change my password after I mistakenly entered it in the open section of my response to your request for it.
I now understand that what you want is my Wordpress cPanel username and password. Now, as I say I had saved my Wordpress username and password. The password which was saved on Wordpress was a computer generated password which I had not noted. So I went through my emails and found one from Wordpress which was sent to me when I downloaded Wordpress and noted that it was for a different username. So I sent off the link asking to change my password, followed the link, entered the username and a new password and went straight to my profile page on Wordpress. I did this on my phone. This was on Wordpress.org
Just to make absolutely sure that all was well I then tried to enter the same username and password for Wordpress.com but when I entered each username I was told "we do not seem to have an account in that name"
So, basically, I have no idea where to find my Wordpress/Envato/Kute Boutique cPanel, if that is what you want, other than going through the host Godaddy.
I have no idea why this has to be so complicated but, quite frankly, I need to start building a website and really think we might have to give up with Wordpress/Envato/Themeforest/Kute Boutique or whatever you are called.
