add_image_size in themes functions file

I have noticed that when I upload an image, there is created several images in the upload folder. This has caused a massive 74,000 files in the upload folder for October, which is way beyond what my host think is reasonable (they say it may cause issues to access the folder from FTP/SFTP and the file manager).
Which ones can be disabled or removed with the setup I have on my website?

I think that the cause maybe by your site, It's infected with the virus. You should be cleaned it and let me know ( I have more than 1000 clients but i have never been as your question).

It hasn't been hacked, I just added a lot of products this month.
I noticed there's a few add_image_size in the themes functions.php - can I outcomment/remove these lines if I don't use the lookbook, collection and blog?
And how about the kt-post-thumb, are those attached to some important use somewhere in the theme?
Also, I presume that the testimonial-thumb is only for use for testimonials, right?

I have asked coders and they said that you can remove it if you're a coder and good about php codes because something will be missed when these functions have removed.
