Background settings and language menu

Just purchased the theme and I'm very happy so far.
But, and this is probably a stupid question - where is the setting for changing background color / image ?? I think I have searched everywhere!
And another question: why doesn't the language menu (WPGlobus) in the top right bar work? There's no dropdown, so you can't choose between danish and english. This must be theme related as it works in other themes.
I hope you can help me out. It will be very much appreciated.
