Shop Sidebar Issues

Hello,

I am adding a show cart to my store sidebar. I am done with displaying it in sidebar. but its not showing as it is in the header section. even the popup on hovering cart in sidebar isn't working. Is this an issue or it is designed as its appearing in sidebar?

Also i want to change the location of my shop sidebar, its not working from the page setting. Please help.
