Blog Sidebar isn't working

Hello
i tried to create blog sidebar selecting widget area. I add blog categories, KT Image, Recent comments, KT Social but after apply saving. Nothing happen. I also select page layout left sidebar and sidebar for page layout i checked widget area. I also delete cache and apply save, then recheck the blog page, but nothing happen.
I also want to know when you are updating the theme, because i didn't get any update from Mr. Jim. Even he is not replying me now, i think you people are waiting the end of customer support period, and now i have no doubt because you people are making lame excuses. When i contact here you people said to contact Jim Brown and he is not replying me now. Tell me should i travel to your country spending thousand of dollars only to talk about the theme update? Is it a joke you people are provide such a bad service.
