The cause by you imported 2 times for the content.xml file. It no problems, you can remove these pages at the dashboard>>Pages.

I don't mean the pages are double - I mean the content on each page is double. Like on the attached Cart page screenshot - the page shows the content of the cart and then it repeats the content of the cart again - this is happening for all pages.

Please add any item to the cart on the site and go to the cart and checkout pages, you will see that the content is repeated twice.

By the way, I tried installing other themes - the other themes are working well...

I checked on my demo (http://techone.kutethemes.net/cart/) and did not get the same problem as your site. In this case, please provide your FTP accounts details via secret information area. My coders would like to check direct on your site and fix it.
