page banner on mouse over cahnge image

Hello, How can I add a second image in the main banner and the second image to appear on mouse over? I mean to change the image as it changes in the products for example, when the mouse goes on the image of the product, it changes with another image..I want to do the same in the main banner.
I tryied it by adding the megahtml module in the topcolumn and adding html code to make the "on mouse over", but the quality of the photos is not good, is not sharp.
can you please help me how to do this? Do I need to add any css class to do this?
