Home-8 settings

Hello.
I'm trying to set up Home-8 template of the theme as basic for my site as it apperars in the demo.
After setting Home-8 as my start page I can only see vertical header menu on the let side of the screen, but I cannot manage to see/add categories menu on the right like on demo screen.
2nd question is how to add URL on click on the 'shop now' text which apperars on the slides.
