I have managed to get 4 product in the category page by editing the following files
themes/supershop/product-list.tpl
themes/supershop/js/global.js
and themes/supershop/js/modules/blocklayered/blocklayered.js

please inform me which files are to be edited for the home page sliders (most popular, new arrivals slider)

i think they are themes/supershop/modules and bestsellers, newarrivals and so

Not there sir,
supershop/js/index.js file has the setting for the owlCarousel block
