All categories in all pages

hi...
we have an issue and we 'like to help us
we would like to have the categories block with all the categories in all pages....
Now if i click in one category (like women) the category block shows the subcategories of the category "women" like "tops","dresses" etc...
but now i am in the women subcategory (screen1)
we would like to keep the main categories in the category block (screen2)
in conclusion:
i want to see all categories in all pages... is this possible?
