Product Category Description

In the mobile & tablet view, the product category description is taking up a lot of room. I do not want to remove the text because I need it for SEO, but it makes the user have to scroll more than necessary to reach the product content. Is there a way to make the category description hidden? So the content can remain, but it is not visible on desktop, tablet, and mobile devies?
