    Picture Format + Amazon Payment Button

    Hi there!

    First of all: great theme, I really like it! I'm using the Full Width Option of the Logancee Theme.

    I'm struggling with two issues at the moment I been trying to solve for several days now.

    1. Picture Format: I can't get the pictures (banner and especially on the homepage) to look the same on diffrent screens. It looks great on my laptop screen but totally stretched on my external screen. Any ideas how to solve that? I tried several formats, constraining it, not contraining it but I can't get it to work!

    2. Amazon Payment Button: I installed the Amazon Payment Button but unfortunately on the cart drop down, it looks totally out of place (see attachement). Any way to fix that?

    Any help will be much appreciated!

    Dear Emilyle,

    thanks for your response. The button looks good the way it's designed in the screenshot. Perfect would be if the Amazon-button was a long as the Paypal-Button, is that possible? And how much would the customazation be?

    I was talking to a coder of a module because another problem came up. Being located in Europe, we have to have a pop-up that informs customers about the use of cookies. This notification never popped up so I contacted the coder. He just got back to me with the following answer:

    "In the menu "Modules > Positions" of your backoffice, you can see that the module is not included into the hook "displayTop". We have tried to do manually clicking on the link "Transplant a module" on the top right corner of the page but the module "Ovic - Layout control", which is already inserted into the hook "displayTop", prevents the insertion of our module into this hook. Please contact the developer of the module "Ovic - Layout control" so that he can fix the problem coming from his module."

    Is there anything we can do about that?

    One little thing I forgot: I cannot upload a flavicon. Maybe you can let me know how to do that because everytime I try I wouldn't work.

    thanks for your response. So I updated the theme and made sure that all the picture are in the same dimensions you used in the theme. Unfortunately, they are not responsive on my screens. I'm waiting for your response.

    Hi David,

    perfect, I just checked it and the two pictures on the home page are responsive now. Thank you so much for that! But there is still a problem with the home slider, for some reason that one is not responsive and looks like in the picture I attached.

    So we are left with the following points:

    - The EU ccokie module doesn't pop up as I explained in my second message
    - I cannot upload a flavicon

    For customization:

    - The Amazon Payment Button in the cart drop down
    - I came across another problem last night: that email "in transit" that is send out to the customer does not show the tracking number. I found how to fix that but unfortunately I have no experience working with php. files whatsoever. I don't want to mess anything up :-) This is what needs to be done. It's probably pretty easy and quickly done but as I said, I'm afraid I might mess anything up trying it myself.     Dear Emilyle,

    thank you so much for your quick response! I truly appreciate that!

    Regarding point 2: I'm sorry, I must have overread that. But I'm not using the Advanced EU Compliance module. The one I purchased is called "EU Cookie Law (Notification Banner + Cookie Blocker)" and it's in my modules favourite list.

    Regarding point 3: I added a screenshot where you can upload the flavicon. Everytime I upload it, the prestashop flavicon still shows up.

    Regarding point 4: Unfortunately the home slider image is still not responsive on my external screen :-( Is there anything I can do about it? Like anything about the picture itself? I used the same dimensions you used for the cover photos 1860x870.

    I'm sorry to bother you but I really need to an answer how things are looking. I started this ticket almost two weeks ago. My purchase included a certain level of support but so far only the responsiveness of two pictures has been fixed. Especially the EU Cookie banner problem is absolutely crucial for me to launch the website, so once again I'm asking you kindly to update me on the status. It's very difficult for me to always wait 1-2 working days until I get an update. I'm always blocking the first half of my day so I'll be available to chat with you. So I would greatly appreciate if we got some results here very soon.
