Theme Editing

I have finally gotten my Wordpress site set up to where I have uploaded my new theme and now it's time to personalize it. This is where I am having trouble. I am in no way a website guru and know nothing about coding. I am learning as I go but am almost to the point to have to have someone else do the set up for me because I can't figure it out. I purchased the theme because I loved the samples that were shown. I really want my site to look like one of the samples but with a few changes and of course my merchandise. Are there templates that are already built that I could use and then add my own wording and items? Can someone help to get me set up to where I just need to upload my own photos and words, etc.? Please let me know and if there is a charge for that type of service.
