.product-item .status - display out of stock Badge / Sold out badge

Hello , where in the them can i control the .product-item .status . I want to display out of stock or sold out badge on products marked as sold out. i can see that when i add new item in my store it appears with New badge on the product. where can i control what is displayed here?
