Header Template change not working

Hi, I have the problem that the Header Template change in Theme Options not taking effect. I can choose what ever I want. I always see the same Header...
And if I chose my favorite (Header 3) the Slogan Field not showing up to fill with slogan.
What am I doing wrong?
