Boutique Theme - Boutique toolkit plugin error

I've just installed the Boutique theme. On installing the required plugins the Boutique Toolkit plugin is giving me an error once Wordpress tries to activate it. I'm getting the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/m/i/c/mickkyle/html/test/fq16/wp-content/plugins/boutique-toolkit/boutique-toolkit.php on line 19

It installs just fine, but will not activate. Please help! I've tried installing the plugin manually and automatically. I'm using Wordpress version 4.5.2
